The City Clerk's office serves as the central point of contact for municipal records, elections, licenses, and general city information. Staff members are available during regular business hours to assist with inquiries and service requests.

City Clerk

The City Clerk maintains official records, administers elections, and processes various licenses and permits. Services include:

Utility Billing

The City of Hartford provides water and sewer services to properties within city limits. The utility billing department handles account setup, billing inquiries, and payment processing.

Permits & Licenses

Building permits, zoning requests, and business licenses are processed through the Building Inspector and City Clerk offices. Hartford follows the Uniform Dwelling Code and Wisconsin Commercial Building Code.
